We are pleased to announce we are offering scholarships for income dependent families at ASO. These scholarships are designed to support and empower learners by providing financial assistance, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive academically and personally. We encourage all eligible students to apply and take advantage of this opportunity to enhance their educational experience. For more information on eligibility and how to apply, check our Announcements & Calendar page. We look forward to supporting our students in reaching their full potential!
We are also working to qualify for the Florida's Step Up scholarship program and are building an endowment fund to make Apogee more accessible to all families.
This is our tentative 24'-25' calendar year. Also see our calendar page.
Someone who can research questions, follow instructions, solve problems—admit that they don’t know something and figure out a solution when they hit a roadblock without asking an adult for help — participate in discussions, and strive for mastery.
At Apogee Strong Orlando we believe in learning to be and learning to do. An important part of this is encouraging kids to take responsibility for their own behavior and hold those around them to a high standard. When something isn’t working, we want our leaders to work together to solve the problem, not look for an adult to solve it for them. This creates a sense of independence and confidence that will serve them well in all areas of life.
We believe that children learn best when working with those younger and older than themselves rather than split up into groups based solely on age or "grade level".
We’re excited to offer multiple enrollment options to better assist our local community!
Full time: M-F 9am to 3pm
Half-Day: M-F 9am to 12pm
Homeschool Fridays: Friday only 9am to 3pm
We've heard your requests and are currently working on 2 day week options to better serve our homeschool community! Stay tuned!
As a small school, our staff is not trained to serve children with serious learning disabilities.
We respect and incorporate Maria Montessori’s philosophy, but we are not a Montessori school. In addition to Montessori methods, we use the latest interactive technologies, hands on projects and the Socratic Method for discussions.
