Born and raised Floridians, we both went the public school route - as did the rest of our families. It was ingrained in us to check all the "boxes", if we wanted to taste success. Grade school, college, then a beautiful career awaits. Work for a great company and hope to retire early to enjoy the fruits of our labor. We checked off box after box. Trapped in a game we knew nothing about. After 5+ years into our careers, something just wasn't sitting right. We were bound by an invisible lock & key. School debt requires us to work more. So we work majority of the week for a goal that is not our own with less than minimal time for what truly matters, the family. To then ask for days off to enjoy some overdue quality time together? Is this the life we wanted?

Fast forward to having two beautiful children - everything changed. Our goals, dreams, plans all shifted. Our focus was for the future of these little ones. How do we provide the best opportunities and set them up for success, to THRIVE? We knew one thing, our current path wasn't what we wanted our children to go through. We couldn't imagine having to "partner" with someone or something to watch over our kids and hope they hold the same values as we do. The traditional education system wasn't even a consideration. Felt more like a gamble and we wanted no part of it.

This led us to major changes within our family and our mindset. The journey of sovereignty began. God put Apogee in our path and fire in our hearts. Our mission behind this journey is to serve - our kids and the families of our community. We believe that strong families create strong communities and that strong communities will form strong generations. Be the change you wish to see in the world!
